Thought for the Day

Morning all ! Hope you're having a great morning!

For the weapons of our warfare are not physical weapons of flesh and blood, but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4

Sometimes we lose our focus. We can be walking in love all day, going along fine, until someone comes along and offends us. As soon as we forget our focus of love, we stop making progress and come to a standstill-aggravated, upset, and offended.

Understand that the mind is a battlefield. If you don't stop Satan when he gets into your thoughts, you are not going to stop him from getting into your life. Stay focused. Ask God to help you remain full of love, no matter what comes your way today.

I pray that we each remain in love and stay focused on GOD!! :)

Thought for the Day

Good morning all ! Hope you're off to a great start this morning!

Each one of us needs to accept responsibility to do what is
right in God's eyes, whether others do the right thing or not. Otherwise
we will have a standoff.

"Well, if you won't say your sorry, then I won't say I'm sorry."

"You're not being nice, so I'm not going to be nice."

That attitude gets relationships in trouble. God wants us
to live above the pettiness of selfish arguments by
loving one another.

Finally brethren, farewell! Be strengthened; be encouraged and
consoled and comforted; be of the same mind with another; live
in peace, and then the God of love and Author and Promoter
of peace will be with you.
2 Corinthians 13:11

Make it a great day!!

Thought for the Day

Morning all... 4 days until heading to the Amazon!!

Focus on speaking words in faith today; keep your confession
truthful but positive. Don't deny the existence of your circumstances, but
confess what God's Word has to say about your situation.

For example, if you are sneezing, coughing,( I am!!) and finding it difficult to breathe,
isn't it truthful to say you aren't sick. But you can learn to present a negative
situation in a positive way. You can say, " I believe God's healing power is working in
me, and that I'm getting better all the time. "

Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know
wisdom in my inmost heart. Psalm 51:6

Thought for the Day

Morning everyone.. we made it to Friday!

Power results happen when you do what is right.
Doing what is right is high-tech spiritual warfare!
It puts you in a position where the devil can't affect you,
because you have decided to stand and not be moved.

Remain in faith and trust God. The Bible says in
Psalm 37:1 that evildoers, " those who work unrighteousness,"
will be cut down like the grass. When problems arise
against you, when your enemies attack you, or when evil
makes an all-out assault upon you, trust in the Lord,
and do good.

Trust in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land
and feel surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be
fed. Psalm 37:3

Thought for the Day

Morning everyone! Happy Thursday! One week until we head to the Amazon!! :)

Since all this is true, we ought to pay much closer attention than ever to the truths that we have heard, lest in any way we drift past and slip away. Hebrews 2:1

When Satan find people out of balance, he has an inroad to destroy their lives. Those are people who get out of balance in everything; from not sleeping, to sleeping to much; from not cleaning their house, to trying to keep is so clean that nobody can move in it.

Find balance, balance keeps your day going right. Satan doesn't much care if you don't do enough of something, or if you do too much of it, as long as you don't stay balanced. Take time to examine yourself prayerfully, and ask God to show you how to remain balanced.

I am praying for a balanced life for us all.. especially as we head into the holiday season! Don't get Satan steal your JOY!!: )

Thought for the Day

Morning everyone!!: )

Commit your way to the Lord; trust also in Him and He will bring it to pass.
Psalm 37:5

We are all eager for situations and relationships to change, but nothing will change in our lives without the knowledge of God's Word. In Hosea 4:6 God says,"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge."

Change comes through prayer and then by waiting patiently on God.While we are waiting for God to solve our problems, we are not to complain to everybody else about our situation.

God tells us to trust Him. He is not asking us to trust the people involved in our problems, He is asking us to trust Him. There is a difference. He is faithful to rescue us from all our troubles.

I encourage you to look to Him and not the world when you are in need ! Trust him that he will bring you through !

Thought for the Day

Therefore encourage one another and edify one another. 1 Thessalonians 5:11

We can improve our relationships with others by leaps and bounds if we become encourager's instead of critics. It is the greater person who does the right thing; Christ's righteousness dwells in you to help you do what is right. You are great in God's eyes when you choose to do right and bless others. No matter how rough your day is today, speak words that uplift and encourage those around you. Encourage others if you notice them doing a good job- not just those who work with you, but people wherever you go today and this week... You can change the life of someone else's by choosing to speak positive words.

Let's speak encouraging and uplifting words to all we meet today... you might
be the only gentle heart they come in contact with!!

Thought for the Day

Morning everyone.. Hope you had a nice weekend!

I honestly believe that "forgetting" is the hardest part of "forgiving". Forgetting is something shared with no other person. It's a solo flight. And all the rewards are postponed until eternity... but how great they will be on that day!

Forgetting requires the servant to think correctly, which means our full focus must be on the Lord and not on humanity. By God's grace, it can happen.

Greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4

Thought for the Day

Morning everyone! We made it to Friday! I am ready for the
weekend!:)

All of have our own particular fears. Fear of darkness. Fear of failure. Fear of the unknown. Fear of heights. Fear of financial disaster. Fear of sickness. Fear of death. You name it, we entertain it. Yet, He promises to deliver us from all our fears... and so it stands to reason that we can rest in Him. He shields us when we take refuge in Him.

He does hear our cry. He lifts us up out a horrible pit; He places our feet upon a rock and establishes our going. He proves himself strong in ourweakness; He sheds light in our darkness; He becomes hope in our uncertainty and security in our confusion. He is the Centerpiece of our lives.

The Word of the Lord is tested; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. 2 Samuel 22:31

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear ? Psalm 27:1

Have a great weekend!!:)

Thought for the Day

Mornin all ! Hope you're off to a great start!

People complain about stress, but some people would
rather complain than change. It is easy to be frightened at the
thought of jumping off life's high-speed treadmill, especially if you aren't
sure what to give up in order to slow down your life.

God wants you to enjoy a beautiful life with simplicity,
sanity, and clear direction. That only comes by spending time
with Him, reading His Word, talking to Him, and listening for
His response. If you are too busy to get alone with Him
each day, then set some boundaries in your life.(talking to myself
here!!) Say no to whatever is keeping you from starting your day with
God.

All things are permissible, but not all things are helpful.
All things legitimate, but not all things are constructive and edifying.
1 Corinthians 10:23

Thought for the Day

Good morning all!!

I hope you are praying for our new upcoming President this morning, (whoever that may be!)
and praying for the future of this great country !! I am going to sleep tonight
with peace knowing who is sitting on the throne in control of it all !!!

Know who you are in Christ and understand that through salvation,
you are seen in the spiritual world as wearing a garments of salvation and
covered with a robe of righteousness. God is on your side, and He is under
you, over you, around you, with you, for you, and IN you.

The devil knows you belong to Christ because God putting His seal
upon us and giving us His Holy Spirit in our hearts as the security
deposit and guarantee of the fulfillment of His promise.

Little children, you are God and have already defeated
and overcome them, because He Who lives in you
is greater (mightier) than He who is in the World.
1 John 4:4

Happy Election morning to you! I trust you will
be praying for our country throughout the day today!

Powerful results happen when you do what is right.
Doing what is right is high-tech spiritual warfare!
It puts you in a position where the devil can't affect
you, because you have decided to stand and not be moved.

Remain in faith and trust God. The Bible says in Psalm 37:1
that evildoers, "those who work unrighteousness (that which is not
upright or in right standing with God), "will be cut down
like the grass. When problems arise against you, when your
enemies attack you, or when evil makes an all-out assault upon

Thought for the Day

A good Monday morning to you!! :)

Even though you may still be operating in old habits, you still have hope of change, but you
can't change yourself. God will change you, if you seek Him with your whole heart.

Don't be in a hurry for God to finish working in your life. We want everything to be
done instantly, but God is not interested in our schedule. The enemy may thwart
your plans, but God's plans don't get thwarted, and He has a unique plan for you.

Seek God's plan for your life. Stay on fire, red, hot zealous. Pursue His purpose
for you with every ounce of energy you have. There is nothing in this
world that is worth seeking more.

Many plans are in a man's mind, but is the Lord's purpose for him that
will stand. Proverbs 19:21
